Top Natural Hairstyles For Fall 2020

It is the season for pumpkin spice lattes and protective styles 🥰

This season is a versatile month as we usually do protective styles with our natural or with synthetic hair.

They all give our overall look a fun, creative and chic hairstyle for the season.

Here are 10 natural hairstyles that you can do for FALL:

Style #1: Goddess Braids

First up is Goddess Braids. As the name suggest it’s a very queen like hairstyle.

For the style, you would cornrow the hair around the perimeter of your hairline.

You can do a rope twist, flat twist or even a French twist depending on the look that you are going for.

And if you can’t do it, there’s always thousands of videos on youtube university that will show you tips and techniques to get it done.

Goddess braids can be dressed up with hair accessories such as clips, headbands, fleeky edges, sideburns, bobby pins and much more.

Style #2: Half Up Half Down

Next up is a half up, half down. For this hairstyle the top half of your hair will be a ponytail, puff or bun.

And then bottom half will be down or flowing. This can be a fresh style that you are doing.

So, you will have a sleek ponytail and your curls flowing at the back. As well as, you can do it from an old twist/braid out, wash and go or even with mini twists/braids.

So, if you want to look chic, without starting a new hairstyle, this is perfect for you.

Similarly, to most of the hairstyles that we mention today, they can be dressed up.

Don’t forget to add your bobby pins, clips, sideburns, and headbands. As well as, do not forget to lay those baby hairs down or do S curls.

Style #3: Bantu Knots

Or, you can wear the infamous Bantu Knots.

Bantu knots give you an edgy look that is perfect wear with your black boots for fall.

Bantu knots are achieved by parting your hair into mini sections, twirling/twisting it and wrapping it around each other to create the “knot” effect.

You can edge it up by having different parting patterns such as a diamond, heart, square, cross, and much more.

As well as, placing chopsticks or bobby pins in your big or mini knots. And don’t forget to lay your edges to give the look and overall sleek look.

If you want to go the extra mile, you can add synthetic hair to make your knots bigger or thicker.

The hair can be similar to your hair pattern or even another color. Bantu knots are a creative hairstyle that you have full free reign over.

And after 5 days of wearing it, if you unravel the knots it creates a beautiful textured curl pattern. This can be worn for another 4 to 7 days or so.

Style #4: Flexi Rod Set

Or, you can do a flexi rod set. With the help of youtube, you will learn the technique needed to master flexi rods.

We recommend watching a couple of videos to learn the technique, tips and products.

The product is the most important as it will shape the overall outcome of the hair.

So, ensure to use a good moisturizing mousse. The mousse should make your hair pliable to wrap around the rod, hydrate and enhance the natural sheen of your tresses as well as give you hold.

The flexi rod style is perfect for any family get-togethers or any social gathering that requires you to look “formal”.

Style #5: Flat Twist Out

Instead of doing your regular braid or twist out, do a flat twist out.

Unlike the twist out, you pull and twist your hair at taught, however with the flat twist you twist along the scalp/roots of your hair.

If you can’t cornrow, then youtube is the plug. If you want more chicness, ensure to add some perm rods to the ends of the twists.

Then, the big reveal of the style will have you looking like a curly sue. It is great if you want to look girly, cute, and flirty on your outings.

And don’t forget to lay your baby hairs or pull out your sideburns for more chicness.

Style #6: Perm Rod Set

Another curly sue hairstyle for fall is a perm rod set out.

To achieve the best curls you would need flexi rods of the same shape/pattern to give you defined and consistent curls.

As sell as, a good styler such as cream, gel, or foam. Once you have these then you are on your way to achieving the perfect perm rod set out.

However, if you are unfamiliar with using perm rods ensure to watch a couple of youtube videos.

Once the style is complete, lay those baby hairs to give you a complete flirty and girl look.

Style #7: Double Buns/Puffs/Ponytail

Another fun hairstyle is to wear double buns, puffs, or ponytails. Depending on what you like, you can wear either one.

It can be worn for an edgy/chic day or a fun/flirty look.

For this hairstyle, you would split your hair into two, horizontally or vertically.

You can switch it up by doing a straight, diagonal or zig zag part.

Then, swoop each part into your favorite style.

You can even take it up a notch by splitting your hair into three, four, or even six.

The style gives you free rein to do as you please. And more so importantly, you can add panache to the overall look.
